You are Known!

Filed under: Uncategorized — Pastor Tim Ahlman @ 2:31 pm

Friends,

Do you ever feel like just another face in the crowd? Do you ever feel like no one truly knows you? Like even those who are closest to you still don’t fully know you. Really, you’re thankful for the fact they don’t really know you, because you doubt they’d want to know you if they fully knew you. You know what I mean? “the table” is meant to be a place where you can be fully known – both by God and by others. There is no need to hide your struggles at “the table.” God knows your struggles – He created you; He lives in you. Give the stuff you’re hiding to Him.

God also gave us each other – the Church. The Church is a place were we can be fully comfortable with exposing our struggles with no fear of being judged or rejected.

“the table” is giving us an opportunity to get to know more people – and where there are people there are struggles. May we be a people who bear each others struggles.

Blessings as you seek to be known and get to know others!

IN CHRIST,

Pastor Tim
